I am a UK (B.Ed. Hons) fully qualified teacher. I have additional Post-Graduate qualifications in Speech and Language difficulties (PG Cert Language and Communication Impairment in Children).

As I teach in schools on a day to day basis I hold an Enhanced CRB check.

I have 18 years teaching experience. For the last 11 years I have worked in a specialist role teaching and supporting children with speech, language and literacy difficulties.

My aim is to implement a service for one-to-one home tuition which utilises my specialist skills, used daily in my existing work within schools.

My husband Gavin and I live in North Shields and we have two children, Josh and Daniel. When I'm not working my hobbies include reading, walking, yoga and attempting to improve my culinary skills…..the latter is taking longer than expected.
